The next exhibition in-store for Immer Farbe is the "Proud" Exhibition & Gift Shop at Art Hole (at Darkroom Bar (336 Saint Asaph Street) from the 15th to the 25th March 2023, where Immer Farbe will be joined by guest artists as well as the Immer Farbe artists to celebrate Pride, Love and Diversity! There will be works from 70+ artists and makers at this event. This Exhibition coincides with Christchurch Pride Week, and we would love to thank Christchurch Pride for their sponsorship of this event!

PREFERRED PAYMENT

Preferred payment is paywave / contactless payment

We cannot accept eftpos cards without the paywave function.

ATM is 7 minutes walk away or a 5 minute drive (BNZ) though would prefer contactless card payment if possible.

(On Fitzgerald Ave between Cashel and Essex Street).

 

BAGS:

Bring your own bags if you can - we will have some but better for the planet if we go re-useable bags!

 

FINDING US:

Building has DARKROOM signage on it - this is us - the ART HOLE is inside!

We are opposite the interesting building that is The Lotus Heart (Vegetarian Restaurant)

We are diagonally across from Space Academy

We are a couple of doors down from 12 Bar

 

PARKING:

Saint Asaph Street is one way - access it from Fitzgerald Ave if driving

There are 5 minute parks, 60 minute parks and if you're lucky - no time limit parks on Saint Asaph Street.

There are 60 minute parks usually free/ empty when school pick-up isn't happening on Ferry Road (then a 5 minute walk around to the Art Hole/ Darkroom

There are $4 all day parks on the old Catholic Cathedral Basilica site - this is a gravel carpark and is about a 10 minute walk to Arthole/ Darkroom

 

LATE NIGHT OPENING EVENING - there will be complimentary snacks (don't get excited) and non alcoholic beverages from 5.30pm on the 15th - the Darkroom Bar will be open if you'd like to grab an alcoholic beverage (not complimentary) - this is 18+ from 4pm.

 

ACCESS: The building has steps leading into the building, so is not wheelchair friendly sorry, but once inside the building, it is one level from the foyer to the gallery. (Get in touch with us if you can't access the exhibition due to this - happy to do a video tour if you can't make it in due to this).
